Employer-sponsored clinic provider moves its headquarters operations to Indianapolis’ Market Tower building
INDIANAPOLIS – Building on more than a decade of operations in Marion County, OurHealth today announces the relocation of its corporate headquarters from the city’s northside to Market Tower in the heart of downtown Indianapolis’ business district. The company is hiring for dozens of open positions, including finance, member relations, IT and engineering roles at its headquarters.
Founded in 2009, OurHealth’s system of industry-leading near-site clinics, called the MyClinic network, significantly lowers the barrier to entry by allowing employers to gain immediate access to a network of primary care clinics. The company operates primary care clinics in six states, including Indiana where it has been headquartered since its inception. OurHealth was formerly headquartered in OneAmerica Tower in downtown Indianapolis but it has been on the city’s northside since 2017.
“We’re thrilled to be back in the heart of the city’s business district,” said CEO, Ben Evans. “Downtown Indy is flourishing more than ever, which is a perfect match for OurHealth’s thriving culture. We’re excited about our growing business and this move represents an opportunity to attract top talent whose energy and passion for improving patient lives and saving employers money matches ours.”
OurHealth, the nation’s largest near-site healthcare clinic network, has recently undergone rapid growth, highlighted by its expansion into Cincinnati, Ohio, earlier this year.
In addition to expanding its clinic footprint, OurHealth has grown its client roster across all markets. Harris Teeter, a supermarket chain in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Hamilton County, Ohio, in Cincinnati both recently joined OurHealth’s networks. Other clients include the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, City of Charlotte, Anthem, First Financial Bank and the Indianapolis Airport Authority.
OurHealth is on a mission to save employers $1 billion in healthcare costs, and to date has saved its clients more than $160 million. The company takes a patient-focused approach to care, including waiting times of less than five minutes, appointments that average 20 – 40 minutes and a patient satisfaction score of 98 percent.
In 2018, OurHealth patients lost a combined 40,000 pounds and 32,000 points of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. OurHealth clients enjoy an average savings of 17 percent on health plan costs through better management of chronic conditions, ER avoidance and reduced lab and drug costs.
